The Chinese Rainbow Network (CRN) Rainbow Scholarship was created to provide financial support to students who identify as ethnic Chinese LGBTQ+ around the world. This scholarship can be used to fund education-related expenses to pursue a degree from an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational program. Applicants would only need to submit one application form. The scholarship, 9 places, ranges from $4,000 to $1,000. We are now accepting applications for the fifth CRN Rainbow Scholarship until May 31st, 2020!
Chinese Rainbow Network (CRN) was founded in 1996, consisting of Chinese individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) living in North America. For a long time, Chinese LGBT members have remained invisible due to various factors, facing pressure from society and family alone. Our mission is to build a better Chinese LGBT community. In 2015, CRN became the sole registered non-profit organization exclusively for Chinese LGBT members in the United States. The initial goal of CRN was to establish an Omni-directional and multi-functional community platform so that every Chinese LGBT member who left their homes would have a sense of belonging in North America.
